HARLOT is a new theatre company developing experimental, vicious, and pointedly tacky work from emerging playwrights.
Harlot’s founding company is made up of Ellery Cordes, Zoe Nelms, and Keira Dig.
Harlot’s mission is to offer resources and opportunities towards the development of new theatrical work, with a focus on queer/gender-marginalized writers.
Harlot’s past productions include ERASE ERASE, GATE SHUT PANIC, DEAD BITCH, GATE SHUT PANIC, BAD TASTE, and DANSE MACABRE!.
In May of 2026, Harlot produced the NYC premiere of Gate Shut Panic at JACK.
Harlot just concluded the first series of Plays To Watch Out For, a new work development program. We held an open submission process, selecting 3 finalists and offering them a stipend + week of rehearsal time/space to develop a new play, culiminating in a public reading. This iteration featured Girls! Girls! Girls! by Anike Sonuga (dir. Damayanti Wallace), Little Hugs, Tiny Kisses by Catherine Bloom (dir. Keira Dig), and The Ballad of Joan & Jane by Sarah Groustra (dir. Amina Khelif).
